Lyttelton House Passes Pre-Registration Inspection

News

We are delighted to share that Lyttelton House school has successfully passed its Ofsted pre-registration inspection.

This is an exciting milestone in our school’s journey and reflects the hard work, dedication, and vision that has gone into creating a school where children can thrive. The inspection recognised that we are well prepared to open and provide a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for our pupils.

In the report, Ofsted said:

“Leaders have an ambitious vision to provide a first-class education for pupils who have struggled to access mainstream education. Leaders understand the specific needs of the type of pupils that they will admit very well. Leaders understand the importance of putting pupils’ wellbeing at the heart of what they do. They have high expectations for pupils’ academic and personal development. They are highly committed to helping pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), to achieve their very best.

Leaders have designed a well-planned and carefully sequenced curriculum which sets out exactly what pupils will learn and the order in which they need to learn it. Leaders have ensured that there are suitable, detailed schemes of work for all subjects. These take into account pupils’ starting points, aptitudes and ages, including their EHC plan targets.”
